In Secord, we honour Alberta’s founding pioneers, including Richard Secord, who, as a MLA between 1902 – 1904, introduced a bill that resulted in the incorporation of Edmonton as a city. The vision and commitment of these early community leaders laid the first foundation for the city we are all proud to call home today.
